Nadia Nazarchuk
Non-English-speaking therapist
Certified and accredited Gestalt Therapist, therapeutic group facilitator. Has undergone training in clinical psychology using the Gestalt approach and training in working with traumatic experiences and crisis states. Currently is in training to become a supervisor in the Gestalt approach. She values Gestalt for its attention to the complexity and beauty of human relationships, for the opportunity to find an individual approach for each client, and to see seemingly simple things from a new perspective. Nadia started her practice in 2019.
Colleagues see Nadia as a warm, accepting therapist, one with whom any emotions can be experienced without judgment. Clients note that Nadia helps them be themselves and find their own meanings and anchors, even during crisis states. In therapy, Nadia uses metaphors and humor, and occasionally assigns tasks.
She helps those going through a difficult period (adaptation to new circumstances, divorce, identity crisis, career change, relationship crisis, loss of a loved one) and who feel uncertainty, confusion, and loneliness. She also works with depressive states, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, emotional burnout, issues of self-realization and self-identification, and questions of motherhood/parenthood. She helps clients navigate traumatic experiences and crisis states. Works with LGBTQ+ clients.
