Alona received a degree in psychology with a specialization in clinical psychology and psychodiagnostics. She has been in private practice since 2013. In her work, she combines Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She chose the ACT method because it integrates two key aspects of therapy: working with behavioral strategies and exploring human values and meanings in a broad sense. Schema Therapy helps address significant past experiences that influence the present.

Alona is attentive, tactful, and thoughtful. Colleagues and clients describe her as a "person with a familiar face," noting that you quickly feel at ease with her, as if speaking with an old friend, and find it comfortable to discuss difficult topics. In therapy, she strives to help her clients discover their own unique lifestyle, values, desires, and guiding principles.

Alona provides guidance on self-esteem, high self-expectations, and feelings of loneliness. She helps individuals cope with anxiety, depression, and personal crises, and come to terms with feelings of strangeness and difference. She also works with difficulties in self-organization, procrastination, perfectionism, and ADHD, as well as eating disorders and dissatisfaction with one's body and weight.
